Light on the tongue

The Messenger of Allah (salahu allahu ‘alayhi wa salam) said,

“There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful:

‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-‘Atheem’

(Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection)’.”

كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان، ثقيلتان في الميزان، حبيبتان إلى الرحمن:

سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

How often can you say it? It won’t take much of your time, it’s very easy to say, and it’s dear to Allah. Everything about Islam is made easy for us, all we have to do is apply it sincerely.
